Microsoft Teams and team performance in the COVID-19 pandemic within an NHS Trust Community Service in North-West England

Purpose This study aims to evaluate the impact introduction of Microsoft Teams has had on team performance in response COVID-19 pandemic within a National Health Service (NHS) Community Service. Design/methodology/approach was rolled out across NHS over period four days, partly need for social distancing. case reviews how becoming virtual affected performance, role played supporting staff work higher virtuality, understand what elements underpin successful and these results correlate technology acceptance model (Davis, 1985). Findings The findings indicate that made positive at time heightened clinical pressures working unfamiliar environments without supportive benefits face-to-face contact with colleagues terms incidental knowledge sharing health well-being. Originality/value Further developments were needed make meetings more accessible introverted colleagues, support asynchronous communication, address training needs leaders adapt operate virtuality.
